The idea for SparkinGrid has started with a conversation at an event with a startup founder who has recently had meetings with investors. Although he had cash, he had trouble finding the right adviser or consultant.
While I shared in his ambition, I also shared my contacts with reference projects. Then he told me that why didn’t I help them as an advisory, and coordinate those experts, consultants or mentors. This would give him the opportunity to prepare his company to the market.
So I asked myself – why do they need such a service? Simply they cannot assess the relevant skills they need, they cannot check the references. I mean not an ordinary HR company reference check. Whether that mentor’s knowledge about domain, solution, market etc
Then, I decided to establish such service from scratch, starting as a consultant and team up with the right skilled colleagues where needed. Then, scale it with online software.
